5. Placing orders and forming the contract
- Information about Goods in the Shop (including prices) is an invitation to make an offer, not an offer capable of acceptance.
- You can place an Order:
- through your Account (after signing in), or
- without an Account (as a guest).
- To place an Order you:
- add the Goods you want to your Basket,
- enter the details needed to fulfil the Order (your name, delivery address, email address and telephone number),
- choose a delivery method,
- choose a payment method,
- read and accept these Terms,
- confirm the Order by clicking the “Place order and pay” button. By clicking this button you place an Order with an obligation to pay.
- Before you confirm your Order you can check it and correct any input errors (for example by changing the contents of your Basket or your details).
- After you place your Order you will receive an email confirming that we have accepted it. The Contract is formed when we send you this order confirmation email.
- The only seller party to the Contract is the Seller – GAPLI ECOMMERCE LTD, trading as Aderlo. No third party is a party to the Contract with you. We are fully responsible for fulfilling your Order, delivering the Goods, handling complaints and meeting all our legal obligations.
- We may refuse to accept an Order if:
- you give false or incomplete details,
- we cannot confirm the Order for reasons on your side,
- we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse,
- the delivery address is outside the United Kingdom.
If we do not accept your Order after you have paid, we will refund you in full without undue delay.
- We confirm the Contract on a durable medium by sending you the order confirmation by email. It includes at least: our details, a description of the Goods, the total price, the delivery method and cost, information about your right to cancel and the model cancellation form.
- Contracts are concluded in English.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices in the Shop are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT.
- The price shown in the Shop when you place your Order is the price that applies to your Contract, unless there is an obvious pricing error. If there is an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before the Order is dispatched and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the Order with a full refund.
- When we show a reduced price, we also show the lowest price at which the Goods were offered in the 30 days before the reduction.
- Delivery costs are not included in the price of the Goods. They are shown separately during checkout, before you confirm your Order. Current delivery options and charges are described on the Delivery page.
- The total price of your Order (Goods, delivery and any other charges) is shown to you before you confirm your Order.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments UK Ltd, 9th Floor, 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN, United Kingdom). You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment methods available for your Order are shown at checkout, before you confirm it.
- We do not charge any additional fee for paying by card. If your card is not in pounds sterling, your card issuer may charge its own currency conversion fees.
- We do not accept bank transfers or cash on delivery.
- We start processing your Order once the payment provider confirms that your payment has been authorised.
- Card details are processed only by the payment provider; we do not receive or store them. Refunds are made through the payment provider to the same payment method you used (see section 8.3).
7. Delivery
- We deliver only to addresses in the United Kingdom.
- Goods are delivered by courier companies working with us.
- The available delivery methods and their costs are shown during checkout and on the Delivery page.
- The estimated delivery time is shown in the Shop before you place your Order. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver the Goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days after the Contract is formed.
- If your Order includes Goods with different delivery times, we may deliver them in more than one parcel. You will not pay more than the delivery charge shown at checkout.
- If we do not deliver on time, you have the rights set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including, where applicable, the right to treat the Contract as at an end and receive a full refund.
- The Goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them (other than the courier).
- Please check the parcel when you receive it. If it is damaged, we recommend that you ask the courier to record the damage and that you let us know as soon as possible.
- Not checking the parcel on delivery does not affect or limit your legal rights.
8. Your right to cancel
8.1 General rules
- If you are a Consumer, you have the right to cancel the Contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the courier indicated by you, take physical possession of the Goods.
- If you order several Goods in one Order and they are delivered separately, the cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you take physical possession of the last of the Goods.
- You can also cancel after placing your Order and before the Goods are delivered.
- To meet the cancellation deadline, it is enough for you to send your notice of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
- The right to cancel under this section does not apply to Business Customers (see section 16).
8.2 “Cancel your contract here” and other ways to cancel
- You can cancel online using our “Cancel your contract here” function. It is always available and clearly visible throughout the cancellation period: in the footer of every page of the Shop, at https://aderlo.co.uk/right-to-cancel and on the order page in your Account. You do not need an Account – you only need your order number and the email address you used for the Order.
- The function lets you give your name, identify the Order you are cancelling and choose whether you are cancelling the whole Order or only selected Goods. Your notice is sent when you confirm it by clicking “Confirm cancellation”. You do not need to give a reason.
- You can also inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement:
- If you cancel electronically, including through the “Cancel your contract here” function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium without delay – an email to the address used for the Order, containing the content of your notice and the date and time we received it.
8.3 Effects of cancellation
- If you cancel the Contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
- We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you the Goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the Goods, or
- if the Goods have not been delivered yet, 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel.
- We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
- You must send back the Goods to GAPLI ECOMMERCE LTD, 590 Kingston Road, London SW20 8DN, United Kingdom without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you tell us that you are cancelling the Contract. The deadline is met if you send back the Goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
- You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the Goods, that is the cost of sending them to our returns address in London. If any of the Goods cannot normally be returned by post because of their size, please contact us before sending them back and we will tell you the available options and the cost.
- You are only liable for any diminished value of the Goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Goods. If this applies, we may reduce your refund accordingly.
8.4 Exceptions to the right to cancel
- In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to contracts for:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised,
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,
- sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery,
- Goods which, after delivery, are, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items,
- sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software, if they have been unsealed after delivery,
- digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if the supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose your right to cancel,
- other cases listed in those Regulations.
- Where an exception applies, this will be made clear on the product page before you place your Order. Exceptions to the right to cancel do not affect your rights if the Goods are faulty (section 9).
9. Faulty goods – your statutory rights
9.1 Our responsibility for the goods
- We are under a legal duty to supply Goods that are in conformity with the Contract. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Goods must be:
- of satisfactory quality,
- fit for any particular purpose made known to us before the Contract was formed, and fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are usually supplied,
- as described, and match any sample or model you were shown,
- supplied with the accessories, packaging and instructions you can reasonably expect.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights.
9.2 Your remedies
- Up to 30 days: if your Goods are faulty, you can reject them and get an immediate refund. The 30 days start when the Goods have been delivered to you. For Goods that are expected to last only a short time (for example perishable goods), the period may be shorter.
- Repair or replacement: if you do not reject the Goods within the 30-day period, or if you prefer, you can ask for the Goods to be repaired or replaced. We will do this within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. We may offer the other remedy if the one you choose is impossible or disproportionate compared with the other.
- Price reduction or final right to reject: if the repair or replacement is not possible, is not carried out within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you, or does not fix the fault, you are entitled to keep the Goods with a reduction in price, or to reject them for a refund. If you reject the Goods more than six months after delivery, we may make a deduction from the refund to reflect the use you have had of them.
- Burden of proof: if a fault appears within six months of delivery, it is presumed to have been present at delivery, unless we prove otherwise or this is incompatible with the nature of the Goods or the fault. After six months, you may need to show that the fault was present at delivery.
- Time limits: you can make a claim for faulty Goods for up to six years after delivery (five years in Scotland), subject to the remedies described above.
- We bear the costs of repair or replacement and the reasonable costs of returning faulty Goods to us, including postage. We will refund you within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund, using the same means of payment you used.
9.3 How to make a complaint
- You can tell us about faulty Goods:
- by email to: orders@aderlo.co.uk,
- by post to: GAPLI ECOMMERCE LTD, 590 Kingston Road, London SW20 8DN, United Kingdom,
- through the complaint form in your Account (if you have an Account).
- To help us deal with your complaint quickly, please include:
- your name and email address,
- your order number,
- a description of the fault,
- the remedy you would like (for example refund, repair or replacement),
- photographs, if possible and relevant to the fault.
- We will respond to your complaint within 14 days of receiving it.
- Please contact us before sending faulty Goods back, so that we can tell you how to return them at our cost. The returns address is: GAPLI ECOMMERCE LTD, 590 Kingston Road, London SW20 8DN, United Kingdom.
10. Guarantees
- Some Goods may come with a guarantee from the manufacturer or distributor.
- The guarantee applies on the terms set out in the guarantee document supplied with the Goods.
- A guarantee is in addition to, and does not replace, limit or suspend, your statutory rights described in section 9.
- You can choose whether to claim under the guarantee or to use your statutory rights against us. Claiming under a guarantee does not affect our responsibility for faulty Goods.
11. Digital content and digital services
- If the Shop offers digital content, it is supplied in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and it must be supplied with any accessories and instructions you can reasonably expect.
- If digital content is faulty, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If the fault cannot be remedied, or has not been remedied within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you can get some or all of your money back. If faulty digital content damages your device or other digital content, and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay compensation.
- Section 9.3 applies to complaints about digital content and digital services.
12. Product reviews
- Customers can post reviews of products bought in the Shop.
- We check that reviews are genuine by verifying that the person posting a review has bought the product (using the order number and/or Account details). Reviews from verified purchases are marked as such.
- We do not post, commission or allow fake reviews, and we do not conceal or misrepresent consumer reviews in order to promote products, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
- We may remove reviews that are unlawful, offensive or infringe the rights of others, after informing the author.
13. Liability and intellectual property
- All content in the Shop, including product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, trade names and the layout of the Shop, is protected by intellectual property rights belonging to us or to parties who have licensed it to us.
- You may use the content of the Shop only for your own personal use or in connection with your orders.
- You must not provide any unlawful content through the Shop, in particular content that infringes the rights of others or the law.
- If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the Contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights in relation to the Goods.
- We supply the Goods for domestic and private use only. If you are a Consumer and use the Goods for any commercial or business purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
14. Complaints handling and dispute resolution
- If you have any complaint, please contact us first using the details in section 1. We will try to resolve it as quickly as possible.
- If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you in writing and let you know whether we agree to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider to deal with it.
- You can get free, independent advice about your consumer rights from:
- You can also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live (see section 18).
15. Personal data
- The controller of Customers’ personal data is the Seller – GAPLI ECOMMERCE LTD (trading as Aderlo). You can contact us about data protection at office@aderlo.co.uk.
- We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
- Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy at https://aderlo.co.uk/privacy-policy and our Cookie Policy at https://aderlo.co.uk/cookie-policy.
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is necessary to place an Order and enter into a Contract.
16. Business customers
- This section applies only to Business Customers.
- Business Customers do not have the right to cancel under section 8. If a Business Customer sends a notice of cancellation, including through the “Cancel your contract here” function, we will consider it individually and tell the Business Customer if we cannot accept it. We decide whether a Customer is a Consumer on the basis of the Order details and any explanation the Customer gives us. Giving business details (such as a VAT number) with an Order does not in itself mean that you are not a Consumer – what matters is whether you are buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession.
- Sections 9 and 14 describe consumer rights. For Business Customers, the rights set out in the Sale of Goods Act 1979 apply to faulty Goods.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to a Business Customer under or in connection with a Contract is limited to the value of the Order, and we are not liable to a Business Customer for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or indirect or consequential loss.
- We may cancel a Contract with a Business Customer within 14 days of its formation without giving a reason, in which case we will refund all payments received.
- Contracts with Business Customers are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
17. Changes to these Terms
- We may change these Terms for good reasons, in particular:
- changes in the law that affect these Terms,
- changes in the scope or way we provide our services,
- to reflect court decisions, decisions of public authorities or guidance from regulators.
- Changes take effect 14 days after the amended Terms are published in the Shop.
- Customers with an Account will be informed of changes by email, at least 14 days in advance.
- Orders placed before the changes take effect are governed by the Terms in force when the Order was placed.
- If you have an Account and do not accept the changes, you can close your Account with immediate effect.
18. Final provisions
- If you are a Consumer, these Terms and the Contract are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of the law of the place where you live.
- These Terms do not exclude or limit any rights you have as a Consumer under mandatory provisions of law. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with such provisions, the law prevails.
- If a court finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- These Terms apply from 1 November 2026.
- The current version of these Terms is always available at: https://aderlo.co.uk/terms
Annex 1 – Model cancellation form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)
The form is also available to download as a PDF: https://aderlo.co.uk/cancellation-form.pdf. You do not have to use it – the simplest way to cancel is our “Cancel your contract here” function (section 8.2).
